Chapter Fifteen.
A all Vampire, White Roses, Seventh Treasure Academy.
-----
We arrived back at the academy, and I was feeling better, but my wounds were healing very, very slowly. The cuts weren’t even closed. It was still bandaged.
Rosario walked me back to my apartment, and I thanked him there.
“Sis, there’s something you should probably know.”
“Huh?”
“Bel… isn’t what he seems. Yes, you saw his past. But that’s only part of it. He’s blocking the other part.” Rosario explained.
“Why the hell would he block the other part and not let me know, Rosario?” I asked.
“That,” he said, “is for you to know.”
He grinned, and turned down the streets, walking back to his own apartment. I frowned, and opened my door.
The living room was empty, so I went to my room’s door, and gently opened it. Georgia was sound asleep. Aaron was sitting beside her bed, his arms crossed, his head lying on his arms.
I walked quietly over to his side, and gently shook him.
He woke up, and glanced at me. His eyes widened, as he took in how pale I was.
“Ro-“ He began to shout, but I shushed him, and pulled him out to the living room. He had light brown hair, almost as light as mine. Piercing blue eyes like an ocean. His hair was messed up, but from what I remembered, it was spiked, but his fringe was slightly curled.
“What are you doing in our room?” I asked, yawning.
“Accompanying Georgia. She was so exhausted, but she didn’t want to sleep. I was forced to use my powers on her.” He complained, but his eyes indicated that he was happy to see me.
“Why?”
“She was waiting for you to come back. She studies, yes. She eats, yes. But she doesn’t sleep. Waiting for your return, because she heard of the incident that happened to you back in Italy.” Aaron said, rubbing his eyes.
“You and her are together?” I finally placed all the pieces together.
Aaron’s eyes widened in surprise, and he nodded. I’m not surprised. Aaron’s cute, major cute, but not as cute as Bel was.
“Congratulations, now I need you to tell me everything before I returned.” I said, even though I was yawning like an idiot.
“Okay. So far, what’s changed is that, tomorrow morning, at two in the afternoon, we’re moving back to the dorms. But they’re making us attend something at the auditorium first. They rebuilt the dorms, and it looks hell lot better now. And then, we have our uniforms now. It has a white blouse inside, and a black jacket. The sleeves of the white and black jacket should be folded, and the white must be showing covering the black slightly. Then there is a tie you have to wear. It’s white and black checkered. You don’t have to button your jacket up. Just leave it opened. And then there’s the skirt, for girls, its black. You have to wear a white belt across, and add any accessories to it, that part for adding accessories are only for the Senior Council or Student Council of the Dark Night.
“Also, the Dark Night has began accepting new students, but Melinda stopped them, she said that they have to wait till you return.” Aaron said, pausing to catch a breath after so many sentences.
“Me?” I was dumbfounded.
“Yep. Said something about Enchantress and stuff. Anyway, moving on. Stephan said he found a new breed of vampires, yeah? And it nearly killed you, no wonder you’re so pale. Oh, and, all the schools are going to be in one huge building, ya know. I mean, a bridge connects all the buildings. Say, need a bite?” He asked.
I knew he meant by a drink of blood, so I nodded, he stood up and walked to the kitchen and grabbed a glass and poured a cup of blood into it. He handed me a cup, and sat down beside me again. I sniffed the blood. It smelt kind of wrong, but either way, I just drank it down. It refreshed me, like drinking coffee, or eating a candy. But I was still tired.
“Aaron, I’m gonna catch some sleep ‘kay?” I told him, as I walked towards my door.
“Sure, sure. I’ll just sleep on the couch.” He said, smiling.
I smiled back. He sure was kind.
I opened the door, and walked to my bed, and sat down. Within a few minutes, I was out cold.
“Rosanna!” Georgia cried, shaking me hard and strong.
I moaned in pain, and she quit shaking me. I opened my eyes, and saw Georgia with Aaron standing beside me.
“Wha…?” I began, and then hissed when I felt the left arm’s wound burn.
“Are you okay?” Aaron asked, his finger lighted with a small magic dust. My eyes widened at the magic dust, but I shook my head.
I coughed and my wound burnt more, and I felt as though I was on fire. I bit my lip so hard it bleed.
“Didn’t Uncle Antonio heal you?” Georgia asked, touching the wound.
“Don’t touch it!” I yelled, grounding my teeth in pain.
“Rosanna, are you alright?” Aaron’s gentle voice asked again.
I shook my head, and gasped, my blood pounding hard against the veins.
The door to my room was already open, but I didn’t know how managed to get into the apartment. But he was there, holding me in his arms, murmuring soothing words to calm me down. No, I don’t know how the hell he managed to bear the unbearable pain, but Bel was really here, trying to calm me down, brushing my hair away from my forehead.
“It… hurts…” I managed to whisper.
“I know, I know how it feels.” He said quietly, brushing his fingers against my cheek, another hand around my shoulder, rubbing it gently.
“Burning…” I moaned.
“Burning? Oh no, I think her wounds are infected.” Aaron said, as he used the magic-dust finger to touch my wounds.
“Infected?” Bel asked, his fingers tightened around my shoulders.
“Yep. I think there’s some kind of chemical in the Cryton’s blood, saliva or both, that causes the infection. Either that, or Rosanna’s wounds got exposed too long.” Aaron said in a matter-of-fact voice.
“In..fection..?” I whispered.
“You’re going to be okay.” Bel said, kissing my forehead lightly. His fingers had a glowing white dust. He pressed it gently to my skin, and the pain slowly subdued.
“Now, now, let me heal her wounds.” Aaron said, smiling.
Bel nodded, but didn’t let me go. Aaron simply removed the bandages, and gasped when he saw it was burning red but he touched the wounds and a gentle feeling pulled out the pain, along with some white stuff, which I refused to see. Aaron dumped it into a plastic bag, which Georgia tied up, and threw it away.
“Now, Bel, all you gotta do is close up her wounds.” Aaron said, wiping his fingers.
“Huh, I always do that. But why me?” He said, smiling a cocky grin.
“You…idiot.” I said, smiling weakly.
“Hey, don’t blame me. Blame yourself for going hunting, and got caught by a Cryton.”
“Idiot..”
“You because you’re bonded to her by blood.” Aaron commented, as he watched me with the eyes of a scientist watching an experiment going on.
He complained, but did it anyway. Bel gently lifted my arm up to his lips, and whispered, “Sorry, this might hurt, just a little.” He licked the wound, and also drank a little of the blood there. Then, the wound slowly closed as every part of me recognized the saliva of the vampire I’ve bonded with.
“Amazing. As expected of blood bonds.” Aaron said, grinning.
I felt better now, so I asked him, “Aaron, are you a magic based vampire?”
His eyes widened, and gasped. But Georgia helped him to answer.
“Sadly, yes he is.”
“A…enchanter.” I whispered.
“Enchanter?” Aaron and Bel said together.
“Yeah… People who practice magic.”
“That makes the both of you!” Georgia said, smiling.
“Time to go to school.” I said, standing up.
“You sure you’re okay?” Bel said, releasing his hold.
“I think so.” I stood up, and walked to the closet, and grabbed my uniform.
“You guys should go and get prepared too. I think there’s going to be a gathering in the auditorium today.” I said, rubbing my eyes.
“Okay, if you say so.” Bel said, and left the room.
“I’ll see you soon, Rosanna. Bye, love.” Aaron said, kissing Georgia once, and left.
“You don’t know how damn lucky you are.” I said as I heard the door click.
“What cha mean?” Georgia asked as she flipped through the closet for her uniform.
“Aaron’s a great guy. And you know Raquel has a crush on him. You’re going to break her heart. Especially when she knows you got her guy.” I commented, as I opened the bathroom’s door.
“Raquel’s already taken. That’s why Aaron came to me the other night, upset and all. And I gave my heart to him.” I heard Georgia said, as the door closed behind me.
“C’mon, Georgia, you’re running late again!” I said, rushing her.
“Coming! Coming!” She cried, running after me.
“Gee, you and your hair.” I commented, running towards the auditorium.
“Sorry, sorry.”
I opened the door to the auditorium, thanking God that Melinda hadn’t arrive. Georgia slide beside Aaron, and I sat down beside her.
The auditorium was noisy, and sadly, Melinda entered, the whole auditorium hushed.
“Lucifer’s Academy! Unknown people once attacked us. Yes, we have smartened up, and protected the school. But today, we are not gathered here for that reason. Today, we’re gathered here for two other reasons. The first reason is that we are transferring students out of the academy for safer reasons! Others will stay here, as in charge. Now, can the
special students please stay behind, while the rest be gone for class?” Miss Melinda said.
The human students left the auditorium one by one. Teachers checked for anymore. When all the humans were cleared, Miss Melinda then continued.
“My vampires, White Roses and Seventh Treasure. I’m leaving only you three type of immortals in this academy. Of course, Amber will no longer be in charge of the Dark Night, because of special reasons White Roses’ Stephan had reported to me about, during his trip to Italy. Replacing Amber as leader and Enchantress of Dark Night and Lucifer’s Academy, is.”
Oh holy.
“Lady Rosanna of Italy.”
