You’ve got to become stronger. This is the I don’t know how many time ,you’ve fainted. I thought harshly to myself.
My eyes blinked open, and I sat up, dizzily.
“Rosanna, Rosanna.” Bel’s voice said.
I glared at him, and he was shaking his head.
The reflection on the glass door reflected back at me. My brilliant chocolate brown eyes was replaced with a deep shade of purple, and a bright shade of orange on the irises. My chocolate brown hair darkened. I’d lost my chocolate brown eyes. I loved both, the old and the new colors. Both eye colors made me look different. It made me have the mysterious feeling, and definitely ‘cool’ feeling. But the new colors made me look sinister, dark and definitely evil. I sighed mentally, as I looked at the reflection. My hair was definitely longer. My uniform was crumpled, but not dirty. It was a long sleeved black jacket, and white long sleeved blouse.
“What happened?” I asked.
“A transformation.” Another voice said.
I looked at her. She had very light brown hair, almost snow white. It touched her waist. Her eyes was like mine. Mysterious, and cool. Her high cheekbones made her look elegant. Her body slender like mine. She wore a snow white cloak, covering her clothes. But she wore a pair of high heels. She reminded me of a snow princess.
She bowed gracefully.
“My lady.” She said fluently.
“Luna.” I said.
The owl resemblance was there, and I felt like I knew her for a while.
The snow princess smiled, and stood beside Bel.
A female entered, and immediately I recognized her.
Her short cropped hair was snow white, and her eyes sharp and was pale blue.
“Kayley.” I breathed.
Her eyes narrowed at Luna, but said nothing.
“So, what happened to me, Luna?” I asked.
“When Master Bel bit you, there was a slight entrance of his blood entering yours. Mixing together, it awakened a stronger power. And when the stronger power is activated, it changes your features completely. From sweet chocolate brown eyes to dark lustful purple, and rich light chocolate brown hair to dark chocolate brown.” Luna explained. Bel chuckled, and I stared at him. He met my eyes, and smiled gently.
I stood up, and felt awfully strong. I flexed my fingers, and relaxed they were worn out.
I was quite under control now, so I could get out of the infirmary. I was almost well known for getting in and out of the infirmary so often.
“Your violet eyes are beautiful.” Luna murmured to me as we walked back to the apartments. I ran a finger through my light brown hair. Luna walked on my right and I noticed a thunder scar on her left shoulder. It looked as though she got strike by lightning.
“Luna…” I began, unsure of what to say. But she seemed to be able to read my mind.
“I was strike by lightning on my way back one stormy night,” She began, her eyes thoughtful.
“Even though I’m an snow owl, I have storm powers. So, Princess Rosanna,” She stopped, meeting my bright chocolate brown eyes. “If you want me to protect you, remember about my powers. And,” She paused again, a shining snow white bow with black arrows appeared in her hand. “Although I’m much more powerful in human form, I’m more comfortable as an owl.”
Her fingers of her free hand played with a white cross hanging on her neck.
“That’s the source of your strength and power?” I asked.
“Yup. It’s a gift from Master Bel.”
I hesitated, not sure if I should ask or not. But before I could control my lips, the words slipped out.
“What’s Bel like?”
“Master Bel is… very nice, gentle. He may seem mysterious and cold, but inside, he’s really nice and romantic although he could be irritating. He could, well, understand people easily, and how they are feeling. Most importantly, he’s unbearably sweet.”
“I see.” was I replied.
“Are you say, interested in Master Bel?” Luna asked, grinning like she had guessed something right.
Moments went by.
“I don‘t know.”
“Hmm?”
“I don‘t know. He‘s so irritating sometimes, and like to do stuff I don‘t want him to do.” I mumbled.
Luna looked thoughtful, and quiet. We walked through the empty corridors of the classroom, before I bumped into Cesarina.
“Hey.” Luna and I greeted.
“Hello. Who is this… Snow Princess?” She asked, throwing her head back to laugh out loud.
“The name’s Luna Crest. Lady Rosanna’s guardian owl.” Luna said.
“Rosanna’s guardian owl?” Cesarina repeated, walking towards Luna.
Luna backed against a wall, her eyes frightened, but her body was ready to put up a fight. Something dark, and very scary flicked in Cesarina’s eyes.
Her nails extended, ready to pierce into Luna’s heart.
“Hold it.” I said, in a voice completely different from mine. It was set in a high pitched voice, something dark and sinister brewed in it.
Cesarina’s voice widened in shock as she took in my features. Bright dark violet eyes with bright orange irises, dark long brown hair. Her nails dug into Luna’s arm, breaking the skin. I lifted my gaze from Luna’s arm, and I raised my hands. Palms facing Cesarina, dark roses and vines twisted around my forearms, and then dashed forward to Cesarina, yanking her arms away from Luna. Cesarina flinched, and she turned to face me.
Two arrows, one black, another white, struck her from two different directions. I recognized Luna’s arrow, but not the white one. It was filled with a lot of purity.
“I told you before! Her aura is so dark and covered up, I can’t get a reading.” Raquel’s haughty voice said from a corner. “Holy…” She said, as her eyes met mine. Seeing me distracted, Cesarina jumped on me. Her body on top of mine. Her eyes were scarlet red, and her fangs were already unlatched before her lips were at my neck. Raquel and Luna stood at their positions, dumbfounded. Cesarina’s head dipped down, and bit my neck harsh and hard, breaking the skin and causing a lot blood to flow. I wanted to resist her, but if we resisted the bite of a another vampire, it would hurt. A lot. It would feel as though a part of your body was torn away.
A snow-cold paw stepped beside Cesarina and I.
“Kayley.” I whispered.
The snow tiger grabbed Cesarina using her mouth, and threw her into a corner. Kayley walked over to Cesarina, as a hand came down to help me up.
“Master Bel!” Luna exclaimed.
I grabbed his hand, and managed to stand up but my head was spinning. I guess Cesarina didn drink a lot of my blood as I thought she did.
“Thanks.” I said, one hand going up to my neck to dab the punctured marks.
Bel was behind me when I stood up. He held my hands down with one hand. From behind, his free hand pushed away the hair covering the two punctured marks. His fingers from the one pinning my arms down twined with my hair as his tongue licked away the blood staining my skin.
“What are you-” My question was interrupted with a gentle moan when his tongue licked the wounds. When his saliva met my wound, there was the same intense feelings, mixed with gentleness and something sinister. My eyes widened. He ended the healing with a kiss planted on my neck.
“You don’t seem to take care of yourself so much.” Bel commented, his voice bored.
“Well, actually I didn’t need you to help me heal the wound.” I said, narrowing my eyes at him, again.
“Rosanna, Rosanna.” He tsked.
I wanted to give him a sarcastic reply, but Cesarina and Kayley, back in her human form, returned.
“Oh my goodness. I am really sorry Luna, Rosanna.” Cesarina said, apologizing furiously.
“What happened?” Luna asked quietly.
“I don’t remember. I only remember something sweet and intoxicating in my mouth. Then when I snapped out of it, Kayley said I nearly tried to kill you and I drank a lot of Rosanna‘s blood. Oh god, I am so sorry.” Cesarina said.
“Its okay. I’ll probably be okay after I get some rest.” I said. The sky was almost day, and everyone was probably in bed.
“Okay…” Cesarina said.
Someone tsked, and Georgina walked towards us with a young man beside her. Perhaps young man was an understatement. He was young and sexy. He wore a black hat covering his eyes. He had the eerie and mysterious atmosphere. He wore a black jacket, and black long pants. His hair was rusty-red.
“Georgina! This is…?” I asked.
“His name is Jun. My guardian fire lion.” She replied, smiling gratefully to something.
I mused, temporarily forgot what Bel had done earlier.
Jun took off his hat, and Cesarina gasped out loud. I’m not surprised. Jun was sexy. His rusty red hair shined brown in the light. His sideburns were long. His eyes burned rusty red, just like his hair. His lips curved beautifully. He reminded me of a very hot model from a popular magazine. His hat still in his left hand, the hand crossed his chest, he bowed.
“Hello princess of Italy.”
“Ciao.” I said.
“Bel, its time for us to go back.” Rosario said, leaning against the glass door.
Bel nodded, and walked towards him.
Rosario flashed a grim face at me, and I wondered why. Did he saw what Bel had did to me? Speaking of what he did… The blood she took was a lot. But why did it feel so little?
My throat burned like it was on fire, my veins as though electricity was flowing instead of blood. Glancing into the reflection on the water cooler, my eyes were scarlet red, with orange irises. No. Not here, not my bloodlust. It slammed right back into me. I ran out of the door, running pass Rosario. His eyes looked grim, but his eyes vaguely concerned.
“Rosanna!” Raquel’s voice cried.
